The purpose of the Corporate Business Continuity Plan is to provide information on corporate business continuity that will ensure that essential Council services are delivered during periods of disruption.

Corporate Business Continuity Plan.

The purpose of this plan is to identify the Business Continuity procedures that will be invoked in the event of an incident occurring and focuses identification of critical functions; identification of critical staff; maintenance of critical functions following a disruptive event; business continuity roles and responsibilities and business continuity communication process.

As part of the business continuity framework all Departments within CCGBC are required to carry out a business impact analysis and formulate a Service Unit Business Continuity Plan. Rural needs will be taken account of in further detail when identifying critical functions and services at Departmental level.  

 

 

3D. Please provide details of the social and economic needs of people in rural areas which have been identified by the Public Authority?

The social and economic needs of people in rural areas have been identified using published statistics from the Northern Ireland Census. 

This is a corporate plan setting out procedures that will be invoked in the event of an incident occurring to ensure continued delivery of critical services and applies to people in rural and urban areas equally. 

As part of the business continuity framework all Departments within CCGBC are required to carry out a business impact analysis and formulate a Service Unit Business Continuity Plan. Rural needs will be taken account of in further detail when identifying critical functions and services at Departmental level.
