Community Re-Paint

Council has partnered with Resources Future to set up a Community RePaint scheme.  Community RePaint schemes collect unwanted, surplus paint from local residents and redistribute it to individuals, families and communities in need.  Householders and representatives from local community and voluntary groups can now visit Ballymoney, Crosstagherty, Coleraine and Portrush Household Recycling Centres to collect suitable paint for reuse free of charge.  The scheme has environmental, social and economic benefits, promoting sustainable resource reuse.  The only requirement for anyone collecting paint for reuse is that they sign a log sheet confirming that they understand the terms and conditions of the Community RePaint scheme.  For more information visit https://communityrepaint.org.uk/the-uks-paint-reuse-network/
