Tuesday 16th June 2015 Folk Supremo Paddy Casey to perform at Roe Valley Arts & Cultural Centre, Limavady Causeway Coast and Glens Borough Council’s, Roe Valley Arts and Cultural Centre will host multi-platinum Irish artist Paddy Casey to Limavady on Friday 26th June! The talented musician, considered to be one of Ireland’s most talented contemporary musical artists, will perform from 8pm at one of Council’s prime arts centres located in Limavady.Paddy Casey’s unique blend of folk-rock, has garnered platinum status, multiple Meteor Music Awards, Hot Press Awards and international acclaim. Desima Connolly, Arts Officer and Centre Manager at Roe Valley Arts Centre providing a background to the artist commented, stating “Originally from Dublin, Paddy released his first album Amen in 1999 generating hits such as Sweet Suburban Sky, featuring on hit TV and film soundtracks and supporting artists like U2, REM and The Pretenders on tour. Desima continued “He returned in 2003 with the multi-platinum album ‘Living’, producing well-known hits including ‘Saints and Sinners’ and ‘The Lucky One’ to become the biggest selling album in Ireland, even outselling U2! “His third studio album ‘Addicted To Company (Part One)’, was released in 2007, followed by the beautifully crafted album ‘The Secret Life Of in 2012’.
