Personal Learning Account (PLA)
The Causeway Coast and Glens Labour Market Partnership intends to assist in developing priority sectors in the area.
Residents in the area can apply for up to £500 to fund their participation on accredited courses that will help develop careers. Applicants must be aged over 16, live in the Causeway Coast and Glens Borough and have the legal right to work. The PLA scheme is for those residents who need assistance in removing financial barriers to study.
Apprenticeships
Apprenticeships are an excellent way to get hands on experience while you learn. Combining working and learning can be a fruitful and engaging experience for anyone over the age of 16 who is looking for work.
