Final Call for Rural Businesses to Apply!

LAG Board member Cllr Brenda Chivers with James Brolly, director of JB Interiors. The company received a grant of £29,950.00 to assist with the funding of  manufacutring machinery.

Over 60 businesses in the Causeway Coast and Glens area have already been approved for grant funding through the Rural Business Investment Scheme, with over £2 million committed to projects that will help rural businesses prosper. 

Funding Workshop dates have now been set for the Call 9 of the Rural Business Investment Scheme, which will open for application in April 2019.

All applicants who intend to apply must attend a MANDATORY Pre-Application Funding Workshop.  Dates are as follows:

You must attend one of the above dates to be eligible to apply in February 2019.

What will be covered in the Workshop?
Steps in preparing to submit an application to the Rural Business Investment Scheme in April 2019. Full attendance of a session is mandatory if you intend to apply.

Step 1- Call us immediately on 028 7034 7016 or e-mail rdp@causewaycoastandglens.gov.uk   to request an Expression of Interest form.
Step 2- Complete the Expression of Interest and return as soon as possible. If eligible to apply you will be registered to attend a Funding Workshop.
                                                                                                   
If you do not attend one of the above workshops and submit an application your application will be deemed ineligible.

Workshop participants must be an owner, partner or director of the business applying. Consultants working for an applicant cannot attend on behalf of the applicant but can accompany an applicant.

Only one application per applicant per call is permitted

Attendance at a Pre-Application Workshop does not guarantee an offer of funding.

Application to the scheme is a competitive process and subject to the availability of funding.
