Community Development Training Programme Sept 2022 - March 2023

Council’s Community Development Training Programme runs from September to March, moving through a variety of themes, ensuring groups can easily pick and choose the training most relevant to them and their stage of development. The programme will help equip committees, volunteers and community workers with the skills to sustain their valuable work and improve their practices and procedures for years to come.

The training is free with most sessions taking place on Tuesday evenings on Zoom. A handful of sessions will take place in person in venues across the borough. Training will be facilitated by a range of expert providers with additional ongoing support offered by Council Officers. Moreover, one to one Bespoke Mentoring may be available through Councils Alchemy Programme for eligible social enterprises who attend the training.
