Public are invited to come along to outside Coleraine Town Hall at approximately 8.45pm whereby Madam Mayor, Councillor Michelle Knight-McQuillan will welcome public to the location at 9pm, RBL representatives will arrive and have arranged for a broadcast of what Winston Churchill read during this time in 1945. The event will finish with the Mayor and a veteran plus a cadet, pressing the button and lighting up the ‘beacon’ positioned outside Coleraine Town Hall. The beacon will be unique as it will shine directly into the sky for all to see in the surrounding area.
