Causeway Coast and Glens Labour Market Partnership are pleased to announce funding for economically inactive residents in the borough to obtain driving lessons to allow them to find employment.

Please note the eligibility as follows to apply for the grant:

  • Must be a resident in Causeway Coast and Glens Borough Council area.
  • Must not currently be in employment and have not been seeking work within the last 4 weeks, and/or are unable to start work within the next 2 weeks (Economically Inactive).
  • Must be committed and available to complete all of the driving training before the end of March 2025.
  • Agree to fully participate in employability training and access 1-2-1 support to immediately help you find employment.
  • Must have your provisional licence* (evidence will be required).

*You will need to send a copy of your provisional licence to the LMP if you are notified that you have been accepted onto the programme.
