Awaken Hub Irish Women Delegates Consul General

Portrush and Bushmills-based Women Founders take part in US Trade Mission.

A 25 strong delegation are on a trade mission this week in the United States led by AwakenHub, Ireland’s only all-island community for women founders, and AwakenAngels, the first women-led all-island investment community.

The trade mission is aiming to bolster investment in 17 women-founder businesses from across the island of Ireland with financial asks ranging from $1M to $3M. It is the third AwakenHub and Awaken Angels St Brigid’s trade mission and previous participants have received six-figure investments in as little as seven weeks, following meetings organised as part of the trip.

The local founders taking part in the St. Brigid’s trade mission this week, supported by the AwakenHub/AwakenAngels team include

  • 6D-Dementia Ltd, Frances Duffy, from Portrush
  • Taylor Yates, Karen, and Ellen Yates, from Bushmills

For the past two years, Council has supported local female founders to access AwakenHub support.

Causeway Coast and Glens Borough Council is offering 3 monthly community event passes to women founders up to July 2025.
