Northern Regional College Business Programmes

NRC offer courses as part of DFE Skills Focus, funded by the Department for the Economy, companies (including Social Enterprises) and sole traders may qualify for 75% funding to support the cost of some training. To be eligible for funding a company must be based in Northern Ireland,  have 250 or less employees and want to develop staff or their own qualifications, as a business owner, at level 2 and above. ​

The Personal Learning Account Fund.

Applications are open for Causeway Coast and Glens Labour Market Partnership’s Personal Learning Account Fund.

The fund, which can provide up to £500 towards accredited or industry recognised training, is available to all residents throughout Causeway Coast and Glens Borough aged sixteen plus, with a right to work in the UK.

To be eligible for this funding you must:

Be aged 16 plus
Be resident in the Causeway Coast and Glens Borough Council area.
Be eligible to work in the UK

The fund is now open, with a straightforward application process, however if you do require assistance the Labour Market Partnership team are happy to help. The key thing to demonstrate in your application is how this funding will improve your employment opportunities. Applications to the fund will be assessed regularly to ensure a quick turnaround. Applicants are recommended to read the guidance notes before applying.

All training, assessment and accreditation must commence by 31st of October 2024 and be completed by 30th of June 2025.
