A new round of Causeway Coast & Glens Borough Council’s Town Centre Experience Fund

Causeway Coast and Glens Borough Council is opening a further round of the Town Centre Experience Fund which aims to enhance the vibrancy of our town centres.

The Town Centre Experience Fund will provide grants of up to £2,000, with groups encouraged to work together to introduce new experiences, initiatives, activities, marketing ideas or events for their town and village centres.

This is an opportunity to assist local businesses and create positive change for the benefit of shoppers and visitors. By developing the town centres, it encourages more footfall and longer dwell time which will promote growth and prosperity.

New commercial, community or cultural experiences will contribute to greater diversity in our towns and generate greater engagement which is beneficial for all.

Aimed at the 12 towns and villages of

  • Ballymoney,
  • Ballycastle,
  • Ballykelly,
  • Bushmills,
  • Coleraine,
  • Cushendall,
  • Dungiven,
  • Garvagh,
  • Kilrea,
  • Limavady,
  • Portrush and
  • Portstewart,

the fund is about bringing different ideas together and developing cohesive thinking for the benefit of our town centre users. There will be a grant award per town of £2,000 in this financial year.

This will be a rolling programme and will close when a grant of up to £2,000 has been awarded to each of the listed 12 towns and villages noted above
