This is the formal process of submitting the details of the proposed development to the Council to consider and determine whether to issue a Certificate of Lawful Use or Development stating whether or not planning permission is required. If we determine that your proposed development is not ‘permitted development’ you have the right to appeal this decision to the Planning Appeals Commission.
