Get ready to get active, as Causeway Coast and Glens Borough Council announces its Easter Sports Camps with a range of exciting activities taking place in venues across the Borough.

Developed by Council’s Sport & Wellbeing Development Unit, the programme will run from Wednesday 23rd through to Friday 25th April, with enrolment opening on Wednesday 19th March.

Participants can look forward to a series of fun filled Camps over the Easter school holidays, featuring Football, Hockey, Cricket and Golf.

Mayor of Causeway Coast and Glens Borough Council, Councillor Ciarán McQuillan said: “Council is delighted to introduce a Borough-wide Easter Sports Camps Programme which gives our young people the opportunity to enjoy fantastic fun activities in Ballycastle, Ballymoney, Coleraine, Limavady, Portrush and Portstewart.

“I would encourage all young people who can, to take part in the programme and enjoy both the health and mental health benefits associated with getting active.”

Sports Development Manager, John Fall added: “I’m really excited about the variety of activities on offer this year.

“The 2025 programme demonstrates an innovative approach to sport and activity delivery. Our Sports Camps are developed with young people in mind and offer exceptional coaching and supervision with lots of emphasis on having fun.”

Enrolment for all courses begins on Wednesday 19th March.

Each sports coaching camp costs £28 per child and per camp.
