Creative courses for children at Roe Valley Arts and Cultural Centre

A full programme of creative workshops for children will take place at Roe Valley Arts and Cultural Centre this Autumn.
Young children aged 3-6 can join the Dramabugs workshop running for 6 weeks from Friday 21st September. The class will take place at 4.30pm-5.15pm and combine drama, spoken word and movement.
Older children who are interested in drama can sign up for The Limelight Factory which runs from Tuesday 2nd October to 13th November. Designed for ages 9-12, this brilliant course by Sorcha Shanahan combines storytelling and drama and takes place from 5pm-6.30pm.
Children can also enjoy after-schools Halloween Shadow Stories with Joan Alexander from Tuesday 23rd to Thursday 25th October. This workshop from 4.30pm-6pm will give children the opportunity to create their own spooky small scale stories using portable shadow theatres. Halloween festivities will continue at Roe Valley Arts and Cultural Centre with the Scary Arts Club on Saturday 27th October. Creative children will be able to make their own props and goodie bags in the workshop which takes place from 2pm-4pm.
A Winter Wonderland arts and crafts course for children will run from Saturday 17th November until Saturday 8th December. Perfect for children aged 5-7, it will take place from 2pm-3.30pm. Alongside this, older children aged 8-12 years can join the Artspark course from 2pm-4pm.
Following this, a festive workshops will run on Saturday 15th December from 11am-12.30pm and Saturday 22nd December from 11am-1pm where children can create elf or hedgehog prince puppets.
