Causeway Coast and Glens Borough Council is extending its popular Easter sports programme for children.
For the very first time camps will be held across the Borough, providing new opportunities for young people in Ballycastle, Ballymoney, Coleraine and Limavady,
Organised by Council’s Sports Development department, the programme is aimed at children between the ages of 4 and 14. Activities will take place from Wednesday 4th April until Friday 6th April.
The Mayor of Causeway Coast and Glens Borough Council Councillor Joan Baird OBE said: “I’m delighted to see the extension of the Easter sport and activity camps - the first Sports Development initiative which encompasses the whole Borough. This represents a fantastic opportunity for our young people to get active, develop their skills and make new friends. The programme is all about having fun, encouraging children to come together and enjoy the benefits of taking part in sport.”

In Ballymoney, activities include a Football Camp at the 3G Pitch and a Girls ‘Allowed’ Fun Activity Camp at the Joey Dunlop Leisure Centre.
