Flowerfield Arts Centre is thrilled to announce the launch of an exciting new exhibition, on display throughout the summer months.
The Puffin Rock Exhibition, a fantastic celebration of the beloved and award-winning animated show created by Dog Ears and Cartoon Saloon, launches on Saturday 8th July at 12.30pm, with a now sold-out screening of the Puffin Rock and the New Friends feature length film.
Puffin Rock has captured the hearts of viewers worldwide since its premiere in 2014 on Nickelodeon, RTE, and Netflix. The exhibition, associated activities and workshops promise to enchant audiences of all ages, taking them on a delightful journey into the world of Puffin Rock and coinciding with the release of ‘Puffin Rock and the New Friends’.
This extraordinary movie, the first large-scale animated production to be made in Northern Ireland, is set to hit cinemas this July.
This summer, you are invited to immerse yourself in the enchanting artwork featured in the exhibition, showcasing stunning visuals from both the series and the movie. Explore the timeless themes of friendship, environmental challenges and community that lie at the heart of Puffin Rock's beloved storytelling. This exhibition promises to be an unforgettable and memorable experience for the entire family.
Dive into the enchanting world of Oona and friends and delight in creative workshops and activities inspired by these lovable characters. From wet felting to claymation, fused glass and more, there's an opportunity for every age to engage in playful creativity.
In addition to the exhibition and workshops, Flowerfield Arts Centre is delighted to offer free screenings of Puffin Rock episodes from Monday to Thursday, 11am to 4pm, running in conjunction with the exhibition.
