Lansdowne Heritage Project Public Engagement
The Causeway Coast & Glens Borough Council is preparing a submission to the Heritage Lottery Fund seeking funding to deliver appropriate heritage led proposals along the eastern edge of the Portrush peninsula from Ramore Head to the Arcadia.
To assist in preparing the proposed funding bid Council is undertaking an initial public engagement on Wednesday 27th January 2016 in Portrush Town Hall. Drop-in from 7.00pm to 9.00pm.
Mayor of Causeway Coast and Glens Borough Council, Councillor Michelle Knight McQuillan said, “The Lansdowne area is a very environmentally sensitive area with a wealth of heritage interest. Everyone is warmly welcomed to drop-in anytime between 7pm and 9pm to offer their views. We also acknowledge and welcome the support of the Portrush Heritage Group in conducting this public engagement event.”
Council officers confirmed further public engagement event will be undertaken if the project is successful in proceeding to Stage 2.
