Make a Play in a Day

Are you a child aged 5-11 or a young person aged 12- 18? Interested in theatre? Looking for something to do in the summer holidays? Causeway Coast and Glens Borough Council is offering drama workshops for children and young people in Ballycastle in July.

The workshops will be led by experienced drama tutors, Caroline Kelly-Dodds and Molly Goyer-Gorman, who explain, “These are relaxed, fun days where children and young people will get the chance to express their own ideas and be creative. We will play drama games and make up our very own story to perform in front of parents and friends. If you love to use your imagination, then this day is for you.’

Past participants in recent workshops have said, ‘It was awesome and really fun’.

This is a great opportunity for anyone who loves drama to come along and see how much is possible when people get together with lots of enthusiasm and creativity.

Workshops take place in Sheskburn House, Ballycastle. There are three separate days to suit different age groups: Monday 4 July for ages 5-8; Monday 18 July for ages 8-11 and Monday 25 July for ages 12- 18. Workshops are free of charge and open to all. No previous experience is necessary. Places are limited so booking in advance is recommended. For further information or to book please telephone 028 207 62225.
