A reception has been held for the first recipients of Causeway Coast and Glens Borough Council’s Enterprise Fund.

Established last year, the fund is designed to support a new generation of entrepreneurs by assisting local businesses who have been trading for less than two years to take the next step in their growth plan.

The event was hosted by the Mayor, Councillor Joan Baird OBE. Speaking afterwards she said: “I am delighted to have the opportunity to meet with businesses that are making such a positive contribution to the local economy. I hope this fund helps them to address barriers to growth and encourages innovative approaches”.

The businesses who have been awarded Enterprise Fund grants by Causeway Coast and Glens Borough Council are:

  • Medicinall Ltd.
  • Ballycastle Sea Tours
  • Taylor Yates
  • Glenara Elite Travel
