The Mayor of Causeway Coast and Glens Borough Council has enjoyed a visit to Gaelscoil an Chaistil in Ballycastle.
During her time at the school, the Mayor took part in a question and answer session with pupils and was entertained with traditional music and Irish dancing.
Speaking afterwards, the Mayor Councillor Brenda Chivers said: “I would like to thank all the staff and pupils at Gaelscoil an Chaistil for the very warm welcome afforded to me during my recent visit. It was a great opportunity for me to meet with some of our younger residents who were keen to find out more about the role of the Mayor. I was very impressed by the talent on display and I would like to wish everyone involved with the school my very best wishes for the future.”
Following on from the visit in Ballycastle, the Mayor also visited Gaelcholáiste Dhoire in Dungiven and Gaelscoil Léim An Mhadaidh in Limavady.
