Mayor of Causeway Coast and Glens Borough Council, Councillor Michelle Knight-McQuillan's Christmas Greeting

“I would like to take this opportunity to wish residents and visitors to the Borough of Causeway Coast and Glens a very happy, peaceful Christmas and a prosperous New Year.

“Many of us will be looking forward to a welcome break with some time away from work. However, I appreciate that others will be working right through the Christmas period ensuring vital services are being delivered. May I take this opportunity to send my sincere thanks to all of you.

 “I’ve experienced a busy and rewarding few months so far in my role as the first Mayor of the Causeway Coast and Glens Borough Council.  It has been a great honour to represent the people of the borough during the merge of four legacy councils.

 “It has been a wonderful year, in which change continues to bring our staff and our communities together. Christmas offers us the opportunity for celebration, as well an opportunity to reflect on the past and how we look towards the year ahead.

“I wish to thank everyone for their support to Council as I continue to support you in 2016. Merry Christmas and best wishes for a happy and healthy new year.”
