NOTICE OF CONCLUSION OF AUDIT

In accordance with the Local Government (Accounts and Audit) Regulations (Northern Ireland) 2006, Causeway Coast and Glens Borough Council give notice that the audit of the accounts for the year ended 31 March 2015 has been concluded by the local government auditor.
Council were not be able to reconcile an error in the the Ballymoney Borough Council statement of accounts in sufficient time to allow the Northern Ireland Audit Office to gather sufficient and appropriate audit evidence for the Local Government Auditor to complete the audit on the statement of accounts and give an opinion before 31 October 2015. Therefore the unaudited accounts for Ballymoney Borough Council are currently published.
Any member of the public may –
a) inspect and make copies of the statements of accounts (or any part of it) prepared by the Council;
b) inspect and make copies of (or any part of it) any report made to the Council by the local government auditor;
c) require copies of any such statement or report (or any part thereof) to be delivered to him/her on payment of £10 for each copy.
The documents may be inspected at any of the Causeway Coast and Glens Borough Council offices (Ballycastle, Ballymoney, Coleraine and Limavady) between the hours of 9am and 5pm, Monday to Friday, and are also available on the website www.causewaycoastandglens.gov.uk
