Places left for free autumn circus school
Tue, October 23, 2018
There are still places left on the half-term free circus school on Thursday 1st and Friday 2nd November, for children and young people who are aged 8 +, as part of the partnership programme between PEACE IV and Causeway Coast and Glens Borough Council’s arts programme.
The venue is the Marine Hotel, Ballycastle.
The workshops are being delivered as part of the Council’s €4.3m funding award from the European Union’s PEACE IV Programme, managed by the Special EU Programmes Body.
The Circus School will be taught by experienced tutors from the renowned Streetwise Community Circus and participants will learn a range of skills including juggling, stilt-walking, unicycle, rola bola and diabolo. The circus school is free of charge and free lunch will be provided. All you need is to get there and bundles of enthusiasm.
These workshops are part of an ongoing programme which will continue until September 2019 and are now available to pupils who attend schools throughout the Causeway Coast and Glens Borough Council area including Limavady, Coleraine, Ballycastle and Ballymoney.
Priority will be given to those who have not previously completed a Peace IV Arts programme.
To register your interest, parents/guardians are asked to email bernice.mccloskey@causewaycoastandglens.gov.uk or telephone 028 2076 2225 Monday to Wednesday during office hours.
This is a Causeway Coast and Glens Borough Council/PEACE |IV partnership Arts Programme (GR Out of School), supported by the European Union’s PEACE IV Programme, managed by the Special EU Programmes Body (SEUPB).
