Police and Community Safety Partnership Grant Programme 2017-2018

The Police and Community Safety Partnership have opened their Grant Programme for 2017-2018.
The grant programme has been designed to support, promote and develop community safety initiatives which focus on at least one of the following three strategic priorities:
Early Intervention: Initiatives designed to reduce the risk of individuals, especially young people aged up to 17 years, from coming into contact with the criminal justice system.
Alcohol, Drug & Substance Abuse: Working to achieve a reduction in alcohol, drug and substance abuse including prescription medication.
Anti-Social Behaviour: This encompasses a range of behaviours including noise, vandalism, graffiti, anti-social driving, or causing annoyance to people not in the same household.
Grants of up to £5,000 are available for activities that will make a positive difference to a specific situation within at least one of these themes.

Who Can Apply?
Organisations must be from or operating within the Causeway Coast and Glens Borough Council area. Only formally constituted organisations which are not-for-profit and are open, accountable and representative of the geographical area which they service can apply. Such as:
Community and Voluntary organisations;
Statutory organisations – for projects judged to be additional to their statutory duties and non-profit making.

The 2017-18 PCSP grant programme will be open for applications from 9.00am on the 8th May until 12 noon on the 26th May 2017.
