Reception held for pool champion Adam Freeburn

The recent achievements of local pool player Adam Freeburn have been marked by a civic reception.
The event in Cloonavin was hosted by the Mayor of Causeway Coast and Glens Borough Council.
Adam was part of the Northern Ireland Team who won the Under 18 Nations Cup in 2017. It was a year to remember for Adam, as he also won a doubles championship with his playing partner, Aaron Rolston from Larne.
The Mayor, Councillor Joan Baird OBE said: “Adam deserves great credit for his achievements and I was delighted to welcome him and his family to Cloonavin recently. His passion for his chosen sport is clear to see and I wish him all the very best for 2018 and beyond.”
