Stakeholder consultation meeting on the future of Benone Holiday and Leisure Park Complex

14th November 2024 at 7pm

Last year, Causeway Coast and Glens Borough Council commissioned the completion of a Strategic Outline Case (SOC) relating to the future of Benone Holiday and Leisure Park Complex. The SOC identified a number of options for achieving business needs, potential scope and service requirements and recommended a Preferred Way Forward.

Council approved the findings of the SOC, subject to stakeholder consultation that can be fed back into the Council’s decision-making process. The primary objective of the consultation is to share the findings of the SOC, which presents options, and to secure feedback on stakeholder views, concerns and suggestions for future direction.

You are invited to a stakeholder consultation meeting on 14th November at 7pm in the Benone Hall within the Benone Holiday and Leisure Park Complex. Refreshments will be available on arrival.

We want to hear views from as wide a range of stakeholders as possible, including local residents, members of the public, community groups, local businesses, visitors, elected members and statutory bodies.

If you are interested in the future of Benone Holiday and Leisure Park Complex, then please come along and share your views with us. The event is being independently facilitated.

Please register your interest with Joanne Knight at Joanne.Knight@causewaycoastandglens.gov.uk. This will assist us with catering. We look forward to seeing you there.

Please note, we are aware that some people may not be able to attend the public meeting but may wish to make comments. As such, two e-surveys will be available and can be accessed online on the Council’s website and other social media platforms from 4th November. One will be for customers / visitors to the site and the other will be for the wider public / stakeholders with an interest in the future of Benone Holiday and Leisure Park.
