Tea dances coming to Flowerfield Arts Centre

A number of Tea Dances which aim to combat loneliness and aid mobility and memory among older people are coming to Flowerfield Arts Centre.
The free events with music, dance and song will take place on Wednesday 6th March and Wednesday 27th March from 12pm-2pm.
The events have been organised with the Northern Health and Social Care Trust and are all ‘dementia friendly’.
The award winning ‘Over the Hill Collective’ will be the house band on both days providing percussion instruments and props which will allow participants to fully engage in the festivities.
Taking place in the Art Centre’s accessible auditorium, attendees will also enjoy a light lunch.

Individuals, groups, couples and younger people are all welcome.
