Static Pitches for Holiday Homes
We are pleased to be able to offer a further range of pitches on our Holiday Parks for static caravans to be sited under a Licence Agreement.
The maximum age of any caravan that can be installed on a vacant pitch is six years, and a list of dealers (who will be responsible for paying for siting a unit on a Park) approved by Council for the supply of such caravans is available from the Park Warden. Customers should check with each dealer what amount the dealer is required to pay to Council for siting a unit on a Park before submitting a bid.
Information on these pitches is described in the appropriate "pdf" file page that can be downloaded below, and a form ("Vacant Pitch Bid Form (STATICS)") that you can use to submit your bid for any pitch can also be downloaded. These pitches are popular, and you should note carefully the deadline for your bid to be received by Council - midday Thursday 6th June 2025.
The address for completed Static Bid forms to be posted to is:
Holiday and Leisure Parks General Manager (Statics), Causeway Coast and Glens Borough Council, Cloonavin, 66 Portstewart Road, Coleraine, BT52 1EY
PLEASE NOTE:
Each advertisement is displayed as a "pdf" file and can be downloaded for viewing. Where it says on the advertisement to use a form titled "Bid Form for submission for a Vacant Pitch", download it, and complete it as instructed.
Seasonal Pitches for Touring Caravans
We are pleased to be able to offer a pitch for a touring caravan to reside for the 2025 season.
The pitch will have its own electricity and fresh water supply, and some will have grey water drainage as well. The caravan will sit on a hard stand at least 7.0m long, and there will be space for an awning and for car parking. Each successful bidder will have security of tenure on a pitch under Licence conditions for up to 5 years to allow customers to invest in a touring caravan for this period: after year 5, council reserves the right to re-advertise the pitch again. Please note some pitches may be on a former Static caravan space.
Each year, the occupier of a seasonal pitch will have a Licence Agreement for that year, and will pay the full Annual Pitch Fee as determined by Council plus the amount of electricity used as recorded by a meter. The Bid Amount submitted on the Form is a one-off payment for 2025 only, and is in addition to the 2025 Pitch Fee.
There is ONE pitch available at the following Park:
Holiday Park: Pitch Fees 2025:
- Carrick Dhu Holiday Park £2118.73
To apply for the pitch, the attached “Seasonal Pitch Bid Form” must be submitted to Council by
midday Thursday 5th June 2025
and the successful bidder will be notified within 5 working days. The cost of any touring pitches already booked for 2025 will be refunded to any successful bidder, and due to the late availability, a reduction of £100 in the Pitch Fees will be applied. Further information can be requested by email from the individual Warden at the park, and contact details are available on the website for the Park.
