SKILL UP

Skill Up is open to anyone in Northern Ireland who is aged over 18 and eligible to work.

The Department for the Economy, with funding from the Northern Ireland Office and the Department of Finance, are funding FREE short courses, delivered by local colleges and universities.

Personal Learning Account (PLA)

The Causeway Coast and Glens Labour Market Partnership have a training fund availble to residents in the borough!

Residents in the area can apply for up to £500 to fund their participation on accredited courses that will help develop their career. Applicants must be aged over 18, live in the Causeway Coast and Glens Borough and have the legal right to work. The PLA scheme is aimed at residents who need assistance in removing financial barriers to study.



Apprenticeships

Apprenticeships are an excellent way to get hands on experience while you learn. Combining working and learning can be a fruitful and engaging experience for anyone over the age of 16 who is looking for work.
