Freedom of the Borough

Council may confer the Freedom of the Borough to persons of distinction and organisations who have rendered eminent services to the Borough.  It is the highest accolade that Council can make to an individual or organisation and acknowledges their work and contribution to the Borough.  Recipients of the award are listed below:
