The Community Planning Team is collecting and processing your personal information because the Local Government Act 2014 requires Causeway Coast and Glens Borough Council to initiate, maintain, facilitate and participate in Community Planning in this area. This legislation requires the Council to seek the participation of and encourage the local community to express their views on community planning in this area.

Facilitate the circulation of information to you in relation to community planning in general and to facilitate any specific actions being taken forward in relation to community planning.

For statistical and research purposes in relation to community planning.

Where Do You Get My Personal Information From?
Personal information will be provided to us by you from activities that are undertaken as part of the community planning process.

Your information will be held by the Community Planning Team of Causeway Coast and Glens Borough Council
We will not share your personal information with any other Council Departments or organisations.
We will not disclose any of your personal information to any other organisation unless required to do so by law.

We will only retain your personal information for as long as necessary to facilitate the appropriate community planning activity.
All information stored is subject to and is kept in line with the Council’s Retention and Disposal Schedule
We may also keep it for longer in order to meet other legislative requirements, or to answer requests for information from ongoing or impending statutory inquiries.

What We Ask of You
Please make sure that any information you give us is as accurate and as complete as possible.
Don’t include personal information about another person (including your family members) unless you have told the individual concerned and they agree to it being supplied to us.
