Remembrance Sunday has been marked in towns and villages across Causeway Coast and Glens.

The Mayor Councillor Richard Holmes attended a commemoration at Garvagh War Memorial where he laid a wreath before a service was held at St Paul’s Church in the town.

2021 marks 100 years since collective Remembrance traditions were first brought together to honour the service and sacrifice of the Armed Forces, veterans, and their families, adding to the significance of the annual event.

Remembrance Services in the Borough will conclude on Sunday 21st November when a service will be held at St Thomas’ Church on Rathlin Island followed by wreath laying in the adjoining church yard.
