Tue, September 13, 2016
Trampolining is just one of the activities on offer as part of Causeway Coast and Glens Borough Council’s Get Active, Stay Active autumn programme
With the summer holidays now a distant memory and school getting into full flow, a new activity could be a great way to kick start autumn.
Registration is now open for children to take part in Causeway Coast and Glens Borough Council’s Sports Development & Physical Recreation Get Active, Stay Active programme of activities.
This year’s programme comprises of the Activ8 Wildcats Club, Bambinos football sessions (in Coleraine and Bushmills) for children, Saturday Morning Live! Sport & Rec Club, Garvagh Phoenix Volleyball Club, Coleraine Junior Hockey, Coleraine West Table Tennis Hub, Coleraine Cougars Special Olympics Basketball Club, Coleraine Strikers and Causeway Trampoline Club
Talking about the exciting Bambinos Football sessions for children, Council’s Every Body Active Coach, Gary Fowler said; "Bambinos is back bigger and better than ever! Our 4, 5 and 6 year olds will receive a fun, age-appropriate introduction to the sport that focuses on developing confidence on the ball. The 7 years and older age group will continue this theme, learning the tricks and skills of their favourite players and encouraging their creativity through small sided games."
