The extraordinary film ‘Leonardo from the National Gallery’ will be shown in Flowerfield Arts Centre in Portstewart on Thursday 9th May as part of the Exhibitions On Screen programme.
It charts the remarkable events which occurred when London’s National Gallery brought together the largest ever collection of his surviving paintings in the ‘Leonardo da Vinci: Painter at the Court of Milan’ exhibition. Given exclusive access to the opening night, it captures the excitement of the occasion and provides a fascinating exploration of Leonardo’s great works.
