New events guide for Roe Valley Arts and Cultural Centre

Roe Valley Arts and Cultural Centre in Limavady has launched its latest free events guide.
It features a diverse range of exhibitions, live music performances and family theatre from now until August.
Musical highlights include the popular band ‘The 4 of Us’ who take to the stage on Friday 20th April while Irish folk band ‘Scullion’ will perform on Friday 25th May. Made up of musicians Philip King, Sonny Caldwell and Robbie Overson, the internationally acclaimed trio rose to fame in the 70s whilst touring with the late John Martyn. Music fans will also be treated to an appearance by Mercury nominated Irish singer Lisa Hannigan on Friday 20th August who will perform an intimate concert entertaining audiences with her folk inspired sounds.
Art exhibitions include the work of local artist Sara Cunningham Bell, who will present ‘MOVE + B Still’ until Saturday 19th May. The ambiguity of empty space provides the inspiration for an art exhibition called ‘Framework’ by Alacoque Davey which will run until Saturday 26th May. Following this an opportunity to view the photographs of local woman Marie Brennan and the scenery of Bushmills will open on Friday 8th June until Saturday 21st July.
Other highlights include the return of ‘August Children’s Month’ which features Family Fun Fridays and a host of creative courses. Award winning family theatre can also be enjoyed courtesy of Clydebuilt Theatre and Pickled Image Theatre.
