Special Christmas screening of festive favourite, ‘It’s a Wonderful Life’

One of Causeway Coast and Glens Borough Council’s premiere arts venues, Roe Valley Arts and Cultural Centre, Limavady is holding a special Christmas screening of festive movie classic ‘It’s a Wonderful Life’ on Saturday 19th of December at 2pm.

This festive favourite stars James Stewart as George Bailey, a loveable small town businessman who wishes he had never been born when his family business gets into trouble. With the help of an angel called Clarence on Christmas Eve, George is shown how he has unknowingly changed so many other lives in his community for the better.

Released in 1946 and directed by Frank Capra, this heart-warming film was nominated for five Academy Awards including Best Picture. It has also been recognized by the American Film Institute as one of the 100 best American films ever made as well as one of the world’s most iconic Christmas movies.

With complimentary non-alcoholic mulled wine and mince pies being served, this is a fantastic way to escape the shopping frenzy for an afternoon of festive cinema bliss!
