Update on Carrick Dhu and Juniper Hill Holiday Park
Wed, January 13, 2021
Causeway Coast and Glens Borough Council would like to reassure holiday home owners following an incident at Carrick Dhu and Juniper Hill Holiday Park in the early hours of Tuesday 12th January 2020.
Damage was caused to a number of storage containers and two people were subsequently arrested thanks to the vigilance of site security personnel who raised the alarm and were able to assist the PSNI.
The owners of the damaged storage boxes have been contacted by the Park Wardens. All belongings have been relocated for safe storage in the Park’s buildings and the containers are temporarily secured.
No holiday homes were broken in to and despite the PSNI Text Alerts there’s no need for any owners to take further action or visit the sites, which remain fully closed for at least the next four weeks.
The Holiday Parks’ General Manager and Wardens met the PSNI on site yesterday morning and all details have been recorded against PSNI incident numbers 694 120121 (Carrick Dhu) and 140 120121 (Juniper Hill). Both Occupiers Associations have been contacted, and customers can speak with their respective Association if required.
