CFTF Vision and Positioning Statement

The CFTF Vision has been developed by the CFTF Board and formally approved at a meeting of the Board on 17th November 2025:

“Coleraine - a vibrant, historic riverside town to experience, invest in, and call home​”

Building on the feedback obtained through the stakeholder engagement activities, the Coleraine Future Town Fund Board has developed visioning statements and guiding principles to serve as the foundation for its strategic direction and decision-making. It was interesting to note that the same themes were consistently noted across the range of engagement events and different audiences.

These statements reflect the feedback from the local community, local businesses and statutory partners, and the priorities which they have identified for change. They form the foundation of this 10-year Regeneration plan and initial 4-year Investment plan. They also articulate the long-term aspirations of the CFTF Board and how these goals will be pursued. Together, they ensure that every investment aligns with the Fund’s core values, is rooted in local voices, and ensures a shared understanding among stakeholders, guiding funding allocation, and maintaining consistency in delivering meaningful and impactful outcomes.
