Causeway Coast and Glens Council to change cashless parking provider to the UK’s no.1 parking app, RingGo.
The RingGo parking payment app will be operational from 8th November 2026.

From Sunday 8th November 2026, Causeway Coast and Glens Borough Council is changing its cashless parking provider to RingGo by Arrive, the UK’s most widely available parking app. Already used by 12.5 million motorists in over 1,000 towns and cities, RingGo’s nationwide coverage, app features and functionality are expected to encourage greater uptake of this quick and easy payment option.
The service will provide 'Start-Stop Parking' sessions to council car parks. Instead of purchasing estimated blocks of time in advance, drivers start their parking session in the app upon arrival and end it when returning to their vehicle. The app will then calculate the appropriate parking charge based on the actual time spent parked. Drivers are able to check rates before parking in the app or on the RingGo website. “Causeway Coast and Glens Borough Council is pleased to introduce RingGo as our new cashless parking provider. The introduction of RingGo will provide motorists with a more flexible and convenient way to pay for parking ensuring customers only pay for the time they actually use (one-hour minimum charge).
This change forms part of the Council’s ongoing commitment to improving the parking experience for residents and visitors, while embracing modern technology and providing greater choice in how parking charges can be paid.”

Motorists who choose RingGo have various ways to pay. The most popular choice is via the app – which can be downloaded free of charge from the App Store or Google Play – or they can call, text or pay online.
Those who have not used RingGo before must register to use the service by either downloading the free RingGo app and inputting their details or visiting RingGo.co.uk and completing the registration process online. Existing RingGo users can simply type in the location code, confirm their vehicle details and park – quickly and easily.
