About Me
After having served as Chair of Macosquin Community Group and helped to re-establish the community organisation and the Youth Group that went along with it. I've also been involved in community work throughout my activism, including recently joining the Boards of Harpurs Hill Family and Children Centre and Focus on Family Ballysally. I believe that bringing the perspective of a young person is extremely important especially when many of the programmes involved will affect young people.
Role in PEACEPLUS
My role within PEACPLUS is to provide the perspective of a young person and ensure that they are represented on the partnership. I sit on The Youth Engagement and Development and also the LGBTQIA+ subgroups, I believe these are two very important aspects of the partnership as they are two groups of people that are often overlooked and marginalised. I hope that the lasting legacy of the board is one of Peace and reconciliation but also one that leaves a lasting impact for those involved.
