Flowerfield Arts Centre are delighted to support Palladium Portstewart — a new community film collective celebrating cinema and bringing local film enthusiasts together.
Programming from the archives of BFI and Filmbank Media and ranging from the ridiculous to the sublime, Palladium Portstewart kicks off their first season at Flowerfield on Thursday 17 September with a screening of the 1985 action film Commando starring Arnold Schwarzenegger.
The programme continues through the autumn and into the festive season, with a mix of cult classics, horror, comedy and sci-fi. Obsession screens on Thursday 29 October for a frightful Halloween treat, followed by Joe Dante’s classic sci-fi comedy Innerspace on Thursday 19 November. The season concludes with a Christmas favourite, Gremlins, screening on Thursday 17 December.
