The album includes collaborations with David Lyttle (MOBO nominated Jazz musician) and Jon Tiven (Nashville writer/producer who has worked with BB King, Wilson Pickett, Van Morrison and The Rolling Stones and many more) as well as a guest appearance from local Jazz legend Linley Hamilton.

An incredible live performer, Amanda is known for her passionate, powerful vocals and engaging stage presence. Her band are some of the best musicians in Northern Ireland and together they are set to celebrate the launch of this eagerly anticipated album.

Press Comments include:

“Feisty and fresh soul infused vocals...a must listen,” Hot Press Magazine

North Coast-raised, Belfast-based songwriter Hannah McPhillimy’s thoughtful music brings jazz-inflected indie warmth against a windswept backdrop. With her beguiling voice and ear for melody, paired with unguarded, reflective narratives, she has prompted comparisons to the likes of Feist, Regina Spektor and Daughter, all the while carving out her own distinctive path.

With a back catalogue of appearances including RTE’s Other Voices, with Go Wolf at SXSW, supporting slots with The Gloaming, SOAK, Gungor and Foy Vance - never mind a Culture NI trade delegation to Brussels - Hannah has developed a more sophisticated sound and into a bolder artist during a couple of action-packed years.

Flowerfield welcomes Hannah back to the North Coast launch of her new record, Wind Machine, a culmination of lessons learnt on the road and in the studio and a desire to explore new boundaries, Hannah’s latest music is packed full of surprises.
