Causeway Coast and Glens Borough Council has launched a new online Asset Register, making it easier for residents to find information about Council-owned land and property across the Borough.
Created by Council’s Strategic Assets and Digital Services teams, the new resource provides an accessible overview of Council assets, including images, addresses and contact details.
It is part of Council’s commitment to improving transparency and making information easier for residents and communities to access.
Phase one of the Asset Register is now live via the Council website and provides an overview of Council’s Arts Centres, Leisure Centres, Council Offices and Town Halls.
A 360-degree virtual tour will also allow users to familiarise themselves with Council facilities in advance, helping to make visits more accessible and less daunting for people with disabilities and additional needs. The use of images and virtual walkthroughs can also help people with neurodivergent needs prepare for visits to unfamiliar environments.
The initial phase focuses on public buildings, with further phases to be released in due course as additional images and walkthroughs are captured.
Launching the new resource, Mayor of Causeway Coast and Glens, Councillor Dawn Huggins said:
“We want to make it as easy as possible for residents to access information about the assets owned and managed by Causeway Coast and Glens Borough Council.
“The new online Asset Register provides a straightforward way to find out more about Council-owned land and property across the Borough, while the virtual walkthroughs provide an additional resource to help people familiarise themselves with our facilities before visiting.
“Improving access to information is an important part of delivering an open, transparent and customer-focused Council, and I would encourage residents to take a look at the new resource.”

Residents are encouraged to check back regularly, with further assets and virtual walkthroughs to be added as the project progresses.
