Causeway Coast and Glens Borough Council has taken a further step forward in the development of proposals for the future of the Metropole site in Portrush.
Members and officers met with Betongpark, the organisation appointed to undertake the feasibility project, at a meeting last week.
The meeting provided an opportunity for Betongpark to introduce its team and outline its proposed approach to the consultation element of the feasibility project.
A series of urban sport stakeholder engagement sessions is planned for Wednesday evening, September 2nd in Portrush Town Hall.
If you are a skateboarder, BMX rider, Scooter boy or girl, a member of West Bay Rollers, we would love to see you in the Town Hall from 5pm to 7pm.
A wider public consultation is planned later in September which will provide opportunities for the general public, local businesses, community groups and schools to have their say on what might be included at the Metropole site through a combination of in-person engagement sessions and an online survey.
The consultation feedback will help inform the ongoing feasibility work and the development of proposals for the Metropole site.
