Burnfoot Football Club is celebrating the completion of upgrades to its pitch and changing facilities, marking an exciting new chapter for the club and the wider community.
On Saturday, September 5, Mayor of Causeway Coast and Glens, Councillor Dawn Huggins, officially opened the new facilities ahead of the club’s first game of the season against Tullyally Colts.
The improvements at the club’s facility on the outskirts of Limavady have been made possible through investment from Causeway Coast and Glens Borough Council.

“Facilities like these play an important role in encouraging people of all ages to get involved in sport, supporting health and wellbeing while creating opportunities for people to come together.
“I’m delighted to have officially opened the upgraded facilities and to see the Club starting its new season with this investment in place.
“The club committee is very grateful to Council for its investment, which will help ensure these facilities can be enjoyed by players, coaches, volunteers and the wider community for years to come.”
