Causeway Coast and Glens Borough Council’s venue, the Roe Valley Arts & Cultural Centre, Limavady, has a host of cracker Christmas events lined up over the next few weeks to keep you in festive cheer!
The brilliant Limavady Drama Club return with their annual pantomime fun for all the family. This year, the community drama group retell the classic Goldilocks and the Three Bears story on Thursday 3 and Friday 4 December, 7.30pm and Saturday 5 December at 2pm and 7.30pm. Tickets: £7 full, £5 concession with group rates available
Pop in on Saturday 5 December from 11am to 1pm to Make Your Own Victorian Christmas. All the family can join in this free workshop and make your own unique, Christmas decorations inspired by a Victorian Christmas.
'Let it go' by coming along to a screening of the immensely popular Frozen Sing-along on Saturday 12 December. Two screenings are available at 12noon or 2pm with a special Frozen character to meet and greet your little ones and pre-screening themed art workshops available at 10am and 12noon. Advanced booking is recommended due to the popularity of previous Frozen screenings.
Finally, all the family can snuggle up, sit back and enjoy the all-time classic It’s a Wonderful Life on Saturday 19 December at 2pm. With complimentary non-alcoholic mulled wine and mince pies, this is one fantastic way to escape the shopping frenzy for an afternoon of Christmas cinema bliss!
All this and you can also benefit from the Centre’s special shopping discount days on Friday 27th of November from 9.30am to 9.30pm, Saturday 5th of December and Saturday 12th of December from 9.30am to 5pm with refreshments served on the evening of Friday 27th. With lots of new ranges in stock, all crafted by makers from the causeway Coast and further afield, the shop includes beautiful cards, jewellery, homeware, fashion accessories and more – all with that unique, quality touch.
