Causeway Coast and Glens Borough Council is reminding residents, stakeholders and community groups that its public consultation sessions on Arts, Community Development and Museum Services are taking place this week.
These sessions offer all interested an opportunity to help shape how services will be delivered into the future.
Each drop-in event will give members of the public the chance to share their views and ideas on Arts Services, Community Development Services and Museum Services across the borough. Feedback gathered will help inform future planning and ensure services continue to meet the needs of local communities. Council is keen to hear from a wide range of voices, including individuals, community organisations, artists, heritage groups, volunteers and service users.
The drop-in sessions run from 4.00pm to 8.00pm at the following locations:
- Tuesday 17 February – Ballycastle | Sheskburn House
- Wednesday 18 February – Coleraine | Coleraine West Community Centre
- Tuesday 24 February – Ballymoney | Ballymoney Town Hall
- Thursday 26 February – Limavady | Roe Valley Arts Centre
An overview of the process will be given at 6.30pm at each of the sessions.
An online consultation session will also take place on:
- Tuesday 3 March | 4.00pm–8.00pm.
Contact reception@flowerfield.org to register for this online session.
Mayor of Causeway Coast and Glens Councillor Oliver McMullan encouraged everyone with an interest to take part, saying the events offer residents the chance “to directly influence how our arts, community development and museum services evolve in the future.”
Attendees can drop in at any time during the sessions to speak with council officers, learn more about current services, and provide feedback in an informal and accessible setting.
A consultation survey is also available online for those who are unable to attend the in-person events. https://www.surveymonkey.com/r/CCGBC2026
