Halloween activities at Flowerfield Arts Centre
Fri, October 19, 2018
Flowerfield Arts Centre has oodles of creepy goings on to make your hair stand on end this Halloween.
Join us on Wednesday 31st October for film shows, crawly face painting, scary haunted house stories and spooky craft making, not forgetting the ‘Monster March’ Fancy Dress Parade.
Celebrations begin with two film showings of the family classic ‘Hocus Pocus’ starring Bette Middler and Sarah Jessica Parker.
After three centuries, three witch sisters are resurrected in Salem, Massachusetts on Halloween night, and it is up to two teenagers, a young girl, and an immortal cat to put an end to their reign of terror once and for all. An autism friendly screening will take place at 10am and a second screening at 12noon. The film, which is certificate PG runs for 96 mins and admission is £3.
Children shouldn’t miss the chance to show off their spookiest costume and maybe win a prize when ‘The Monster March’ Fancy Dress Parade starts in Flowerfield Park at 1.30pm.
Following this from 2pm-4pm, there are gruesome mini-make workshops, ghastly tales from a spooky storyteller and frightful face painting, all for free.
