Mayor of Causeway Coast and Glens, Councillor Dawn Huggins, has met with participants of an empowerment programme in Dervock.
The programme, led by Lynn Kane of LK Connect and Empower, was funded by Apex Housing and provided an opportunity for local women to develop new skills, build confidence and connect with others in their community.
Over the six weeks, the programme brought people together through a wide range of engaging activities, including art therapy, positive minds crafts, floral creativity, pottery, holistic therapies and training.
During her visit, the Mayor presented certificates to participants who had successfully completed their Level 3 First Aid qualification thanks to Elite Connected.
