Mayor of Causeway Coast and Glens, Councillor Dawn Huggins, has welcomed Dunaghy Youths 2014’s to a special reception to mark their successful season.
Established just two years ago, the team has proved that hard work and dedication pay off.
In their first season in the South Belfast Youth League, the young stars went unbeaten throughout the campaign.
Mayor of Causeway Coast and Glens, Councillor Dawn Huggins said: “It was a pleasure to welcome the players, coaches and families of Dunaghy Youths 2014 to a special reception in recognition of their fantastic achievements.
“To go unbeaten in their very first season in the South Belfast Youth League is an outstanding accomplishment and a testament to the dedication, teamwork and determination shown by everyone involved.
“Although the team has only been together for two years, they have already created something very special.
“They are wonderful ambassadors for their community, and I wish them every success as they continue their football journey.”
